DS Building Contractors (Cheshire) Ltd is run by Dave Sherwin, who was inspired by his Grandfather, Father and Stepfather, who were all tradesmen to follow his passion into the building trade. At 18 he became self-employed and through his initiative and drive was determined to perfect his skill set of bricklaying, joinery, roofing, plastering, kitchens and bathrooms and groundwork’s to allow his business to offer a full high class building service to his clients.

 

Services offered are home extensions, barn conversions, new builds, listed buildings, conversions, alterations and improvements, groundworks and landscaping. All of which are professionally managed and carried out to the highest standard with attention to detail being key.

 

Dave’s son Bradley has also followed his family into the trade and completed his apprenticeship in bricklaying, whilst working alongside Dave. He has since followed his passion into groundworks and has gained his qualifications whilst working with a local plant and machinery firm. Brad, now very experienced in this area, works alongside Dave to undertake all groundwork services.

 

Over the years we have built an extensive client base with 90% of projects being from recommendation. Our clients tell us that this is due to our excellent craftsmanship and that we value the importance of communication, working closely with our clients and providing regular updates of the day to day schedule of works and project progress. We strive to ensure that we work effectively and efficiently throughout our projects to ensure minimum disruption to our clients.
